Qualified Security Providers List
Your guests’ safety is our priority. Work with our preferred security providers for professional, dependable services that help every event run smoothly and securely.
Show management wishing to hire security services specifically for their event must select a company from the Qualified Providers List (QSPL) below. At the discretion of OCC management, certain types of events may be required to hire third-party security services.
Companies included on the QSPL have completed an application process, met established criteria for experience, licensing, training, and insurance, and received approval to provide security services within the venue. Security providers that have not been pre-approved may not operate within the building without prior written authorization from the Director of Public Safety.
There is no administrative fee for selecting a security company from the QSPL. Clients wishing to use a company that is not on the QSPL will be charged a non-refundable $1,000 administrative fee and must submit a detailed application requesting one-time approval for that company to work the specified event.
The client’s selected security provider must submit its security officer schedule to the OCC event manager.
Approval is not guaranteed and will be granted only after extensive review and verification that the proposed security company:
- Is appropriately licensed or certified by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training
- Maintains the required insurance coverage
- Agrees to comply with the venue’s Code of Conduct
The following outlines the procedure for QSPL security officers to enter the venue:
- All third-party security personnel must be entered into SPLAN at least 24 hours before their scheduled shift.
- Upon arrival, third-party security personnel must enter through the check-in office located on the west side of OCC near the loading docks. Check-in staff will direct security officers to the show manager’s office.
- At least one representative of the security team must obtain a Public Safety radio to maintain emergency communication with OCC dispatch. All third-party security personnel working in the building overnight, after show hours, must have an individual radio.

Medical Technician Services
The center has two fully equipped first aid rooms located in the Exhibit Hall A and E lobbies. Certified medical technicians and emergency medical services are available for events requiring enhanced medical coverage beyond our equipped first aid stations. Services can be customized based on your event's specific medical support needs.
